We envision a world where individuals and organisations live and work in ways that restore, regenerate, and help all life thrive.
Our mission is to nurture the relationships and systems that connect us to each other, to our communities, and to the living world.
Green & Blueprints was imagined when our journeys converged at University College Dublin’s Innovation Academy out of a mutual curiosity to explore how Design Thinking could be applied to address some of the environmental & social challenges that we are facing.
By applying a set of tools (collected from life's diverse experiences) to Design Thinking's human-centred innovation framework, we developed a strong foundation for our collaboration and a shared commitment to make it easier for organisations who want to create lasting, meaningful change.
By combining our expertise in regenerative practices and sustainable innovation, we foster environments where curiosity, creativity, and collaboration can flourish.

I am often asked what I mean by the word regeneration. I tend to describe it as processes of renewal, restoration, and growth that make people, organisations, and ecosystems resilient to natural fluctuations or events that cause disturbance or damage. I sense that this description really hits home at this time.
I believe that exploring these processes matters because it is an invitation to reconnect with what it means to be alive - reconnecting with ourselves, reconnecting within our organisations & communities, and reconnecting to our natural environment.
In valuing my work, I question my impact:
Have I allowed people to feel heard, understood and valued?
Do the people I am working with feel more empowered to be regenerative?
Has the work helped us to feel more connected with a deeper appreciation of the essential nature of whole system health?
Am I creating the right conditions for life to thrive? What I love most about my work is that every relationship is unique, and how this reminds me that I’m most alive when I can sense into that dynamic.
I am a father, a husband, a son, a brother, an uncle, a nephew and a cousin. Being part of my family tree helps me to practice the skills that are needed to be a valued member of my communities.
I live by the sea in Dublin and I plunge in it to refresh my senses.

I believe many of us are acutely aware of the accelerating changes around us. Climate disruption, biodiversity crisis, and economic instability aren't abstract concepts anymore; they're showing up in our homes, our workplaces, and our communities. The Scientific based data that is available brings me to the conclusion that the systems we rely on for survival are far more fragile than they appear.
This personal realization led me to ask myself: Is being sustainable enough?
My life experience has shaped me and provided me with opportunities to create long-term positive impacts for organizations, industries, and communities and I now want to redirect these skills to the pressing environmental and social challenges we face.
It’s clear to me that true, lasting change comes from building connections across all levels – from the bottom-up, middle-out, and top-down. That's why I've dedicated my focus to integrating a diverse set of tools and regenerative practices into Design Thinking's human-centred innovation process. My aim is to make it easier for organizations to create truly meaningful change by applying this approach to move beyond traditional sustainability to a regenerative approach.
This journey also extends to my spare time, where I find immense joy volunteering as Sustainability Officer at Harold’s Cross YFC where my three boys are also members. We're focused on growing our club not just in size, but by its positive impact on members and the community, partnering with amazing people as we evolve our Climate Action Programme.
My experience and approach have led me to ask some critical questions about how we approach our challenges:
Are our assumptions about growth still valid in a resource-constrained, climate-volatile world?
What systemic risks are we not seeing because we’re looking through yesterday’s lens?
Where are we prioritising short-term wins at the expense of long-term vitality?
I believe by openly addressing these questions, we can start to build a truly regenerative future together.
As we explore, realities are becoming clearer
We’re living through a time of immense and accelerating change. Climate disruption, social fragmentation, and economic instability are no longer distant concepts — they’re showing up in our homes, our workplaces, our bodies.
These crises are not random. They are human-made, symptoms of systems and ways of being that are out of balance with life.
Many of us are feeling it: a quiet sense of disconnection, fatigue and knowing things can’t go on as they are. We might sense the urgency but feel unsure how to respond — or even where to begin.
And in the absence of open conversation, we stay silent, unsure if others feel it too. This silence can be isolating. But you're not alone.
We don’t believe that these observations are of our collective failure - in fact, we see them more as signals that the way we’ve been working and living isn’t sustainable, and that another way is possible!
What Grounds Us
At Green & Blueprints, we are grounded in values that reflect both the world we live in and the one we want to help shape for future generations.
-
Fairness is at the heart of how we show up — in our relationships, our work, and our systems. We believe in creating equitable opportunities where every voice matters and everyone has the chance to thrive. It's about justice, inclusion, and making room for a diversity of perspectives.
-
Vitality is the energy that fuels our work — the spark of life that emerges when people, places, and ecosystems are well and whole. We strive to bring vitality into everything we do by encouraging creativity, fostering wellbeing, and nurturing environments where growth feels natural and exciting.
-
Nature is our teacher and our guide. Its patterns and principles inform how we work, how we lead, and how we live. We see ourselves as part of — not separate from — the natural world, and we believe that when we align with nature’s rhythms, we make better choices for our lives, our communities, and the planet.
-
Community gives us belonging and purpose. As individuals, we are parents, partners, neighbours, teammates — rooted in the everyday experiences of life. As professionals, we create spaces where people feel safe to explore, collaborate, and reimagine what’s possible together.
As we look to make it easier for
individuals, communities and organisations to be regenerative
we promise to:
Facilitate open-minded, non-judgemental conversations - accepting that while we carry bias from our lived experiences, we are curious to unlearn and learn.
Celebrate being human with all its wonder and imperfection - showing up as we are and accepting that sometimes our actions misalign with our deeper sense of right & wrong.
Courageously call out degenerative ways of being - bringing awareness to actions that aren’t in service of life and holding ourselves accountable.
Build relationships for the long term - taking inspiration from Acorn Thinking and respecting diverse values when defining shared purpose & building Agreements of Trust.
